When the largest celestial object visible to the naked eye in our night sky meets with the world’s tallest building, a special transition becomes visible as the early evening progresses into the night and coincides with the rise of the full moon.
The purpose of this work is to highlight how even the most ambitious human creations on earth are small and short lived in relation to the timeline and scale of the universe, yet influence our view into the wider world around us.
Meticulous planning and over 1500 photographs resulted in a final sliced combination of ten individual images that come to life in an AR based timelapse animation with custom sound effects in this piece.
